3 dead in fiery Owen County crash, state police say

Kentucky State Police are working a multiple-fatality accident in Owen County.

Authorities said there were least three fatalities. The accident occurred around 1 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 355, near the Eagle Creek area.

Officials said the crash involved a small pickup truck and a passenger vehicle. One vehicle burst into flames upon impact.

The degradation of the vehicle with two bodies in it was so complete, identification of the victims will take quite some time, police said.
