HOLLISTON – Selectmen hired Ryan Clapp as the new conservation agent Monday.

“This is obviously going to be a step up for you,” Selectman Mark Ahronian said, at the board’s Monday meeting, “but it seems like you have some experience.”

Clapp graduated from Boston University in May, majoring in environmental science. He interned with the Foxborough Conservation Commission office, he said.

The job is 20 hours per week, and Clapp will take over from interim Conservation Agent Charles Katsuka.
