The second CBS announced Omarosa was joining the cast of Celebrity Big Brother, we knew it was only a matter of time before the cameras caught her discussing Donald Trump.

After Wednesday's premiere, it didn't take long before the former White House aide opened up in a tearful exchange with unlikely confidant Ross Mathews about what she witnessed working under Trump.

Omarosa explained to Ross that the reason she decided to accept the job in the Trump administration wasn't because of any personal love for her old Apprentice boss, but because she felt it was a call to duty for her country. Once in the position, Omarosa said that she tried to be the voice of reason for the president, but her willingness to be the only person in the White House to openly disagree with Trump lead her to isolation and, we're assuming, her eventual departure.

"I tried to be that person and then all the people around him attacked me," she told Ross. "It was like 'keep her away from him, don't give her access, don't let her talk to him."'

"It's not my circus, not my monkeys, I'd like to say not my problem, but I can't say that because it's bad," a tearful Omarosa continued.

When Ross asked if the American public should be worried about the situation, Omarosa nodded her head and told him that she can't share any words of comfort because they would give a sense of false hope. "It's going to not be okay. It's not," Omarosa insisted. "It's so bad."

Celebrity Big Brother airs Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday at 8/7c on CBS.
