GREENWICH — Police in Connecticut are investigating the death of a 70-year-old man struck by a car.
The Greenwich Time reports the crash happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwich near a public housing complex for the elderly and disabled.
Police say the victim slid underneath a parked car after he was struck. Authorities say first responders discovered the victim was in cardiac arrest when they pulled him from underneath the parked vehicle.
The man was taken to Greenwich Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have not released the name of the victim or the driver.
