QUICK-LOOK FORECAST
- Bitter cold morning, wind chills in single digits
- Some isolated spots of refreeze possible
- More rain, snow over the weekend
DETAILED FORECAST
TODAY: A frigid morning start with temperatures in the teens and wind chills in the single digits. Most roads will be clean and dry, but spots left untreated or areas that saw flurries overnight may have isolated slick spots. This, however, shouldn’t cause widespread problems. Sunshine and scattered clouds for the day with temperatures peaking in the upper 20s, which is below normal. Clouds will increase tonight as well as the chance for some light snow sneaking across the far northern Miami Valley.
FRIDAY: A passing light snow shower or flurry is possible in the far north, producing a dusting towards Mercer, Auglaize, or Logan counties. Everywhere else looks to be dry and warming up for the afternoon with highs in the low 40s, however, the best chance for snow will be north of the Miami Valley. We’ll see some scattered clouds as well.
SATURDAY: A dry start to the day, but clouds increase and some moisture returns with possible light rain showers in the evening. Temperatures will be warmer than normal around 40 degrees. Watch for late night rain showers that may start mixing with snow.
