“An All Black Affair With A Touch Of Gold” will honor seven Outstanding Jewels at 7:06 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The Southeast Arkansas Jewel Foundation in conjunction with the Delta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. will present the catered affair.
The event will honor Booker Clemons, former state representative; Mattie Collins, retired educator; Virginia Hymes, retired educator; Bill Jones, business entrepreneur; Marian Evans Lothery, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Minority Initiative program coordinator and community advocate; Tommy May, business executive; and Archie Sanders, business leader.
