Event features ice-fishing derby, snowmobile radar runs, and much more
Tickets are sold out for Saturday’s 15th Annual Ice Buster Daze Fishing Derby and Radar Run. The event begins with breakfast at the Crookston Eagles from 8-10 a.m. followed by the first radar run beginning at 11 a.m. on the Red Lake River near Central Park and registration for ice fishing.
Here’s a break-down of Saturday’s happenings on and off the ice:
• Eagles Breakfast: 8-10 a.m. - menu of scrambled eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice
• Radar Run: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Red Lake River; 600 ft run, ice & compact snow; Must be 18 or older with a Snowmobile Safety Certification to participate. $20/two runs includes a Sloppy Joe supper ticket; Additional $5/two runs
• Ice Fishing: 1-4 p.m. on the Red Lake River at Central Park, registration begins at 11 a.m.; $20/hole includes a Sloppy Joe supper ticket; fish houses may be used; fishing prizes will be given at the Eagles
• Supper and Raffle Prizes: 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Crookston Eagles; Sloppy Joe supper with ticket and a chance at raffle prizes including a tv, auger, fish house, gift cards, and more
