A Windsor man has been charged with careless driving after he allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed his vehicle on Highway 401.

A Windsor man has been charged with careless driving after he allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed his vehicle on Highway 401.
The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near Scane Road. Chatham-Kent OPP said the driver of a westbound vehicle fell asleep and veered into the centre median. No one was hurt.
Singh Manavdeep, 20, from Windsor, has been charged with careless driving.
Police are urging people to make sure they’re in proper shape to drive before heading out on the road. If you have any doubts about your physical, mental or emotional state, police said, don’t drive.
