Ruling BJP MLA Lal today accused police officials of Rajasthan's district of not taking action in a case of a minor girl in his constituency. In the Zero Hour of the Assembly, the alleged that neither the (SHO) nor the of Police (SP) of had listened or sympathised with the plea of the 17-year-old girl. The girl was allegedly molested by her school principal a few days back and when her family members approached the SP, the said that she had no time for them, the MLA alleged. Opposition created an uproar over the issue, saying that though the BJP MLA was targeting the government, the government was not serious about issues. The law and order situation in the state has deteriorated, the alleged, demanding a reply from Rajasthan Kataria was not present in the House at that time. Lal demanded action against the SHO and other police officials in the case. signaled Lal to sit down, but the MLA ignored it. SP, Tonk, Preeti Jain, said that the girl has alleged in the FIR that she was molested by the government school principal last week. She informed that the girl was scheduled to record her statement before a today, but she fell sick. Therefore, she could not record the statement and further action will be taken after it is recoded, the SP said.
