IDUKKI: In a search conducted by the police four India star tortoises were seized from a house at Areekuzha near Thodupuzha. The police searched the house of Mundackal Anoop on a tip off and arrested his wife Ajitha.
Earlier, the Njarackal police in Ernakulam district had arrested Anoop with 42 star tortoises. Rs. 4.37 lakh was also seized from the house, said the police.
