Walsh football team nets 34 recruits under new coach John Fankhauser
NORTH CANTON New Walsh Cavalier football head coach John Fankhauser announced the addition of 34 players following National Signing Day, the largest for the Maroon and Gold since joining the NCAA.
Of the incoming class, all but six come from the state of Ohio. Only two are from the Stark County area, Zach Beaulieu of Jackson High School and Joe Ciazza, a transfer from Navy who played high school ball at McKinley.
