FLORISSANT, Mo. – One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting inside the Show-Me's restaurant and bar in Florissant, Missouri, Wednesday afternoon.
Florissant Police Chief Timothy J. Lowery said the shooting happened just after 4 p.m. inside the restaurant near the intersection of North New Florissant and Lindbergh. When they arrived, they took the suspect into custody and began treating the shooting victims.
Police said the three men were seated near each other inside the bar when they got into an argument. That argument escalated into a physical fight before the two men were shot.
After the shooting, other patrons were able to take the gun from the suspect and keep him in the bar until police could arrive.
One victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The other was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
