Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has launched the Aprilia SR 125 scooter at Auto Expo 2018. Aprilia has also marked its entry into the 150 cc segment by unveiling Tuono and RS 150 at the event. The company also introduced Aprilia Storm, another 125 cc scooter. The SR 125 is priced at Rs 63,310 (Ex-showroom Pune) and will be available across all Aprilia and Vespa outlets in the country.

The Aprilia SR 125 looks similar to the already existing Aprilia RS 150 which is priced around Rs 75,000 in India.

The SR 125 comes with 3-valve, 125 cc engine and produces 9.6 PS of power and 9.9 Nm torque. It comes with a 6.5-litre tank. The scooter brings features that are similar when compared to its elder sibling, the Aprilia RS 150. It features 14-inch alloy wheels, wide tyres, front disc brake, front telescopic fork and rear mono-shock suspension.

Another scooter unveiled by Aprilia at the Auto Expo 2018 was the Storm 125. This provides approximately 9.9 Nm of torque and 7.1 kW at 6250 rpm and 7250 rpm respectively. A tall windshield, thick wide tyres on the Storm 125 bring in a new look and suggest its riding capabilities.

It was surprising to see Aprilia with two 150 cc bikes at the event. The company has not announced any launch details about them yet. The sporty RS 150 is expected to take on the Yamaha R15, Honda CB 150 and other similar bikes in the segment.

The Aprilia Tuono and Aprilia RS 150 are both 150 cc bikes powered by the same engine. Both bikes come with a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that churns 18 HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

The two-wheelers feature upside-down fork, mono-shock suspension attached to swingarm, spoke wheels, Bosch ABS and disk on both front and rear wheels. The Aprilia Tuono is inspired by Tuono V4 1100 street fighter whereas the RS takes its looks from Aprilia RS V4. Aprilia Tuono comes with an elongated tail-like seat inspired by its elder sibling and brings semi-fairing on the front. The Aprilia RS 150 comes with full-fairing on the front and similar specs as the Aprilia Tuono.
