Groundnut oil recovers on fresh demand
Mumbai, Feb 08 (PTI) Groundnut oil recovered modestly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following fresh demand from stockists and retailers.
While, refined palmolein softened due to sluggish demand from retail buyers.
Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also declined owing to subdued demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, linseeds oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil regained by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 870 from Wednesday's close Rs 860, but refined palmolein inched down per 10kg to Rs 632.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 35 per 100kg to Rs 4,340 as against yesterday's close Rs 4,375 and castoroil commercial slipped by Rs 7 per 10kg to Rs 898 from Rs 905.
Linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 800 per 10kg. PTI BPD ANS BAL
