Data centre and fibre operator Zayo reported revenues for its fiscal second quarter to December up 29 percent year-on-year to USD 653.5 million. EBITDA rose 25 percent to USD 329.9 million, thanks to continued acquisitions. On a quarterly basis, revenues were up 6 percent, and EBITDA rose 17 percent.

The company's net profit fell to USD 11.5 million from USD 19.8 million a year ago due to a charge for the US corporate tax reform. The cash outlfow in the quarter reduced to USD 5.7 million, and Zayo ended the period with USD 280.8 million of cash and USD 442.0 million available under its revolving credit facility.
