Three ride-sharing service providers have suspended their operations for Thursday when a special court will give its ruling in a corruption trial against BNP chief Khaleda Zia.
Pathao, MUV and Bahon managements announced their decision on Wednesday, regretting the inconvenience caused to the users.
Pathao texted the news of the one-day service shutdown to its users on Wednesday night.
It said the ride services would remain suspended from 6am on Feb 8, but Pathao Food Services would be available during the period.

"Due to some technical issues we have decided to shut the services. We will resume it as soon as the problems are sorted out," he added.
Bahon, a private car and motorbike ride service provider, said, "Due to some maintenance work, the services will remain suspended from 6am on Thursday until 11:50pm next day."
Motorcycle ride service providers MUV also sent SMS to the clients announcing the service suspension.
