80,833 quintals of iodized salt distributed under PDS

Under State Government's Public Distribution System (PDS), 80,833 quintals of refined iodized salt has been allotted for free distribution to ration card holders in all 27 districts, officials informed.

As per the allotment order issued by Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Department, three thousand 587 quintals of iodized salt has been allotted to Bastar district, three thousand 092 quintals to North Bastar (Kanker) district, two thousand 504 quintals to South Bastar (Dantewada) district, 587 quintals to Narayanpur district, 1460 quintals to Sukma district, 4305 quintals to Janjgir-Champa district, 4793 quintals to Korba district, 1895 quintals to Mungeli district, 5278 quintals to Raigarh district, 1862 quintals to Balod district, 1884 quintals of salt for Bemetara district, 22962 quintals of salt to Durg district, 2179 quintals to Kabeerdham district, three thousand 553 quintals to Rajnandgaon district, 3138 quintals of salt to Balodabazar-Bhatapara district, 2011 quintals to Dhamtari district, 2549 quintals to Gariaband district, 2810 quintals to Mahasamund district, 3250 quintals of salt has been allotted to Raipur district, 3360 quintals to Balrampur Ramanujganj district, 3095 quintals to Jashpur district, 2754 quintals to Koriya district, 4354 quintals to Sarguja district, and 3833 quintals of salt has been allotted to Surajpur district.
