Taxman considering formal crypto ban?

ET Now learns that the tax department is considering a move to ban crypto-currencies and is likely to make a formal recommendation to the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) in this regard. Notably, DEA is in the last stages of deliberation, and is expected to come out with the government's approach on the entire spectrum of issues related to virtual currencies. Ruchi Bhatia reports.
