KOLLAM: The police have arrested a middle-aged man who attempted to abduct a child in Pathanapuram in Kollam.

The culprit has been identified as Das, who is a native of Neyyattinkara in Thiruvananthapuram.

He was caught by the natives during his attempt to abduct the child and was handed over to the police.

He is being questioned now.
