Jeep Renegade Facelift Sheds a Bit of Camouflage for the Camera

The Jeep Renegade is getting a midcycle refresh, and one of the prototypes has dropped its heavy camouflage.

The facelifted Jeep Renegade is expected to arrive later this year as a 2019 model, and now we can see the modest changes heading its way. Up front there’s a redesigned bumper, featuring a tweaked lower air intake and repositioned fog lights that have been moved inward. As expected, the rear of the compact crossover won’t see any significant changes, but do expect new graphics in the tail lights.

There will also be changes inside the cabin, with the Renegade getting a larger screen and a completely new design for the lower part of the dash, which includes the air conditioning controls and infotainment controls. Overall, it should be cleaner and more streamlined.

Changes under the hood aren’t expected for the facelift, which means the standard 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine will remain, as well as the optional 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.
