Altice Portugal opens new Golabs.IoT in Lisbon

Altice Portugal has started operations of a new technological laboratory for the development of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Located at the company headquarters in Lisbon, Golabs.IoT aims to bring together developers, academia, and startups to develop laboratory prototypes and transform these into products and services. 

The lab results from a MoU between Altice Portugal and Huawei signed during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. According to CTO Luis Alveirinho, Golabs.IoT has a completely different concept from previous labs due to its open nature and space for development and cooperative work.
