The Hampshire County Broadband Initiative Council with help from the Hampshire County Commission has taken a big leap forward after securing close to half a million dollars for Broadband.

The council has successful received $402,795 from a community development block grant aimed at broadband development in the county. The Council applied through the Hampshire County Commission last year and announcements for the grants have just been made through Gov. Jim Justice’s office.
