Our city council is killing our American Dream. Homeowners of Burlington need to understand they are under attack.
Attack by the very people who are elected to protect us.
Homeowners need to establish a citywide homeowners' association to take on city hall. We need a champion that will challenge the city council's stupid ideas and expensive tastes.
The city council has us trying to tame mother nature on the riverfront, can't repair a bridge to the parks, and has left useless old schools standing in several of our neighborhoods.
Meanwhile, our infrastructure is falling apart around us. Bad enough the out-of-control slumlords have back filled every dumpy old house in Burlington for profit but our own representatives have mismanaged our town for far too long. Burlington does not need to be "bigger," it needs to be "better."
