Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Italy and the Vatican City from Feb 12 to Feb 14 on an official tour.
The foreign ministry while inviting the press on Wednesday for a curtain-raiser briefing said she would make the visit to attend the 41st Session of the IFAD Governing Council.
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is a specialised agency of the United Nations that finances agricultural development projects primarily for food production in the developing countries.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali would brief media on the visit on Thursday.
