As I sit here, my miniature schnauzer, Destiny, is sound asleep, snuggled next to me, but she also enjoys napping in her crate. It is her own room in our home. Crates are secure retreats for our furry friends. Vets and trainers recommend them. 

In Part I, I cited crates’ advantages, explained and compared the three different types and described how to make your dog’s crate comfy and inviting. As long as your pup associates his “den” with positive experiences, he will be comfortable and happy with it.
