The Adrian boys and girls bowling teams picked up wins on Tuesday night, as they swept visiting Ann Arbor Huron at Lenawee Recreation Bowling Center.
The boys won 26-4,, while the girls picked up a 30-0 win after Huron was unable to field a girls team.
Leading the Maple boys was Jacob Harvey, who rolled a 172 and a 192, while Long Tran fired a 188 and a 189. Also helping for Adrian’s boys side were Josh Crutcher, who fired a 181, and Coleten Robertson, who reeled off a 165 and a 173.
The Adrian girls were led by Shayleen Helf’s 194 and 178, while Haley Wang rolled a 162 and Anna Mateo fired a 160.
-- Adrian JV: The Maples’ boys junior varsity lost to Huron 16-14 despite Robert Cunningham rolling a 161 and Eric Lin’s 153.
Addison at Jonesville: The Panthers boys and girls bowling teams both could not get past Jonesville on Tuesday.
The girls lost by a 19-11 decision, and the boys team fell 23-7 to the Comets.
Leading the Addison girls was the team of Corenda Eggleston, Tara Beyer, Halie Hall, Bianca Rodriguez and Deja Scout, who won one of the Baker games.
Hall, who rolled a personal-best 364 match series, earned one match point, while Eggleston, who fired a personal-best series score of 281, won both of her matches in the team series.
BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING
Milan 127, Tecumseh 53: At Milan, the Indians set 16 season-best times Tuesday, but it was not enough to overcome the Big Red in the non-conference dual meet.
Thomas Mitchell won the diving, scoring a total of 303.6 points, while Kyle Mitchell had the other first-place finish for the Indians, winning the 100 freestyle in a time of 49.7 seconds and finishing second in the 200 individual medley in 2:08.28.
