Gotabhaya issues statement 
Former Defence Secretary Gotabhya Rajapaksa refutes the statements by Minister Rajitha Senaratne that Udayanga Weeratunga was heading to the USA to meet him.
Issuing a statement, Rajapaksa said he doesn't think that Weeratunga who was arrested in Dubai by the Interpol, has any specific reason to meet him.
The former Defence Secretary said he would explain his stance further after he returned to the island.
