The ebanese newspaper al-Ahbar reported that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will visit Lebanon this month as part of a regional visit. Western diplomats in Beirut said that Tillerson's visit will focus on the Lebanese parliament elections due to take place this May, as well as the matter of territorial and maritime boundaries between Lebanon and Israel; with the goal of calming the recent tensions regarding Israel's building a wall on the Lebanese border and Minister of Defense Lieberman's statements regarding Israeli sovereignty over "block 9" of Lebanese economic maritime zone.
