An energetic crew has been on hand this week, helping with bids from the public for useful materials and fixtures in the old house adjacent to the library. As reported last week, this demolition will remove the last obstacle to preparing for groundbreaking for the proposed library expansion project.

This old house, located at 420 Michigan, had several occupants in its lifetime, and the Board of Trustees of the Clearwater Memorial Public Library is extremely grateful to the last owners, Dr. and Mrs. Doug Gray, for their willingness to sell this piece of property, making it possible to provide the enlarged space so essential to the library’s future.
