COPLEY 57, McKINLEY 47 Brian Roberts scored a game-high 27 points to lead Copley past the Bulldogs at Memorial Field House. The Indians led 15-4 after one quarter and maintained their advantage most of the night. Samuel Williams led McKinley with 11 points.

FIRESTONE 67, HOOVER 56 Visiting Firestone had just four players score but all were in double figures as they overpowered the Vikings. Junior Lafette Johnson dropped in a game-high 25 points, Taylor Mack added 16 and Perrion Johnson added 15 for the Falcons. Freshman Connor Ashby was Hoover’s lone scorer in double digits with 12 points on six baskets.

WEST BRANCH 71, CANTON SOUTH 68, OT Brandon Zuchowski scored 24 points to help the Warriors edge the Wildcats in overtime. West Branch outscored Canton South 31-18 in the second half to force overtime. T.J. DeShields scored 18 points and Reese Leone finished with 16 for the Warriors. Sean Blackmon scored 24 points to lead South. Chris Fontes had 15 points and Jared Perez added 12.

EAST CANTON 42, TUSKY CENTRAL CATHOLIC 18 The Hornets pitched a shutout in the first quarter and used a 12-4 third quarter run to pull away from the Saints. East Canton’s Anthony Baad finished with a game-high 13 points. Damian Clark added 10 for the Hornets.

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS 49, URSULINE 46 Ursuline shot an abysmal 2-for-25 on 3-pointers and the Knights’ 3-2 edge in made 3s turned out to be the difference in the game. Javaz Mincy dominated for the Knights with game highs of 24 points and eight rebounds. He made 12-of-21 shots from the floor, the game’s only marksman over 50 percent. Garrett Repp added 15 points and seven boards for Aquinas.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 58, WAYNEDALE 42 The Crusaders led by a point at halftime but doubled the score on the Golden Bears in the third quarter to win going away on the road. Will Jackson tallied a game-high 17 points and Cortez Simmons added 11 for Central.

MANCHESTER 67, FAIRLESS 40 The Panthers broke the game open after halftime, outscoring the Falcons 36-15 to earn the PAC-7 win. JoJo France bombed in four 3s and led all scorers with 18 points, while Van Wallbrown (3) and Nick Beans (1) combined for four more 3s and scored 13 points apiace for Manchester.

MALVERN 66, CONOTTON VALLEY 32 Mark Mayle poured in 29 points and yanked down 14 rebounds to ignite the Hornets. Mayle had nine buckets and was 11 of 12 at the foul line. Malvern showed balance on offense with Jake Moser scoring 11 points and Derk and Drew Hutchison adding 10 apiece.

MINERVA 72, SALEM 70, 2OT The Lions outlasted the Quakers as they put five players in double figures to overcome Mitch Davidson’s game-high 25 points for Salem. Brock Croston scored 17 to lead Minerva. Chris Lowe had 15 and Brice Williams, Mitch Myers and Connor Wright all added a dozen for the Lions, who outscored the Quakers 7-5 in the second overtime.

ALLIANCE 55, CARROLLTON 38 Seniors Quardell Quay and Tyler Johns combined for 14 baskets to match the Warriors’ total and nearly equalled their point total in posting the NBC victory. Johns had seven buckets, including two 3s, and put in a game-high 19 points, while Quay had seven baskets for 14 points. The Aviators’ Jeff Talbert scored half of his dozen points in a 6-for-6 showing at the foul line in the second half.

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS 58, WARREN JFK 35  Playing the second night in a row, the Knights shot to a 21-10 lead after one quarter and went on to rout the hosts to remain perfect in league play. Katie Hiestand scored a game-high 20 points and Hayley Rorie was right behind with 19 as St. Thomas Aquinas improved to 5-0 in the North Coast League White Division.
