A woman from Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province, wanted to donate 1,200 yuan (about S$250) to a charity programme via an online payment app but accidentally transferred over 122,000 yuan (S$25,698) of her savings, according to Nanyang Siang Pau.
The panicked donor quickly alerted her husband and they sought help from a local newspaper.
Luckily for her, the charity organisation returned the money to her.
