A MAN has been stopped and arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice after altering number plates to avoid ANPR detection.
According to Darlington Police, the suspect was also arrested for drug driving after testing positive for cocaine and his Peugeot Bipper was seized from St Cuthbert's Way, Darlington.
