The Garden City Buffaloes girls bowling team continue its lead in the WAC conference Tuesday night in Great Bend, taking 10 out of the 11 possible points from the Great Bend Panthers. The boys, on the other hand, suffered a WAC loss winning just four points of the 11 against the Panthers.
Ryleigh Whitehurst was the leading bowler for the girls, finishing with a series score of 599, taking medalist honors. Brayden Bickett was the leading bowler on the boys side with a series score of 651, the third best boys score of the day.
Both teams will now host the Dodge City Demons Thursday night at Hard Rock Lanes. This wll be the Buffaloes last duel before the WAC Tournament, which is scheduled to take place Feb. 15 in Great Bend.
