Farmington Hills welcomes police officer Mario Vekic

    The Farmington Hills Police Department recently hired another officer, Mario Vekic.

    Vekic previously worked one year with the Detroit Police Department. He holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree, both in criminal justice, from Wayne State University. He graduated from the Detroit Police Academy in July 2017.

    Vekic was sworn in Feb. 5. He’s assigned to the patrol division of the Operations Bureau as part of the department’s field training program.
