RAJKOT: Gujcot has rented 28
warehouses across Gujarat and
insured groundnut stored there for Rs 165 crore. The
groundnut stock procured between January 5 and January 22, from 13 cooperative societies was brought to the warehouse in Gondal for storage.
CID ruled out the possibility that stock was destroyed to claim insurance.
