Job Title: Locum Cross-Journal Associate or Senior Editor, Nature Reviews

Nature Reviews has a vacancy for a Locum Cross-Journal Associate or Senior Editor for an initial period of 6-9 months.
This exciting position involves being part of a small team of Cross-Journal Editors that work closely, and flexibly, with the clinical sciences, life sciences and/or physical sciences Nature Reviews journal teams on varied aspects of the editorial process, including editing commissioned content, organizing peer review and writing short articles.
To meet these challenging tasks, the ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of, and ideally research experience in, scientific areas relevant to one or more of the Nature Reviews journals. Previous editorial experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Other essential attributes include exceptional literary and verbal communication skills, a commitment to the communication of scientific ideas and excellent organizational and time-management skills. As travel to international conferences might be required, successful candidates must also be dynamic and outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will report to the Cross-Journal Editorial Team Leader of the Nature Reviews division, and the position will be based in the London office of Springer Nature.
