Armed robbery at Sandy Springs Waffle House

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - The search is on for a dangerous armed robber who stormed a Sandy Springs Waffle House Tuesday evening.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. at the Waffle House located off Northridge Road and Roswell Road. Sandy Springs Police said no one was injured, but employees were quite rattled by the incident.

The popular diner was closed for a short time while police investigated.

No word on a suspect.
