A labourer was killed and three others were injured as a big chunk of clay fell on them in Bedikura area of Dhobaura upazila yesterday.
The deceased was Ramzan Ali, 45, son of Keramot Ali of Netrakona's Durgapur upazila.
The injured are Babul Mia, 40, Nanda Hajong, 45, and Joynal Abedin, 48. They were admitted to a hospital.
Md Shawkat Alam, officer-in-charge of Dhobaura Police Station, said the accident took place when the four were cutting earth at a hillock in Bedikura area around 10:00am. Ramzan died on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot, rcovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection, said the OC.
