Grains higher, livestock mixed

Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was advanced 10.20 cents at $4.5440 a bushel; March corn was up 3.20 cents at $3.6460 bushel; March oats rose 4.60 cents at $2.74 a bushel while January soybeans gained 6.80 cents at $9.8740 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was up .60 cent at $1.2628 a pound; January feeder cattle rose .72 cent at $1.4940 a pound; February lean hogs lost .53 cent at $.7412 a pound.
