Eurovision 2018: Who is representing the UK? Who is the UK's entry?
EUROVISION 2018 is coming up and the competition is set to be as fierce as ever. But who is representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest this year?
It’s almost that time of year again and whether you love it or hate it, the Eurovision always sees millions tune in to the musical extravaganza.
The stage is set for Lisbon this year after Portugal took home the trophy for Salvador Sobral’s hit tune Amar Pelos Dois in Kiev last year.
Who is representing the UK in Eurovision 2018?
That is for the UK public to decide.
Six acts are vying to represent their country and will compete for the honour on BBC’s Eurovision: You Decide tonight.
Hosted by The Great British Bake Off’s Mel Giedroyc and former Swedish winner Mans Zelmerlow, the show airs tonight (Wednesday, February 7) on BBC Two at 7:30pm .
Broadcast live from the Brighton Dome, the six acts will compete in front of a panel of judges but the winner will ultimately be decided by the public, who will be able to vote for their favourite online or over the phone.
As one of the Big Five countries that are the main sponsors of the Eurovision, Britian's entry will automatically be put through to the Grand Final.
The six acts battling it out on Eurovision: You Decide tonight are:
Asanda - Legends
Fans of Britain’s Got Talent will recognise this 16-year-old who appeared on the seventh series back in 2013 aged just 11.

“It has a very energetic rhythm and has a tribal feel to it. I think the melody and the lyrics come together to form a very beautiful and inspirational message that is relatable to everyone.”
