The Brazilian completed his dream move to the Nou Camp in January as Barcelona paid Liverpool £142million for his services.
However, the 25-year-old has been used as a bit-part player by boss Ernesto Valverde until he is fully integrated into the squad.
But the midfielder is still buzzing about the move and has revealed the real reason why he wanted to leave Anfield.
And that is because he never won any trophies with the Reds, but he hopes his fortune will now change.
"Everyone knows that I wanted to come to Barcelona," he said to 8tv's 'Fora de Joc' programme.
"It wasn't possible in the summer, but we worked so that it could be done in winter.
"I really want to win big titles, it was one of the reasons that made me sign for the club.
"I want to win as many as I can, I don't have preferences."
When Coutinho made his Barca league debut against Levante he was used as a right-sided midfielder.
But he claims that he is not bothered what position he plays as long as the team is winning.
“I don't care about the position, I'll play where the coach tells me," he added.
"It's all different at Barcelona, and though I've played more times on the left, I'll adapt wherever.”
