Deadpool 2 Already Has the Funniest Trailer of 2018

Here's your first look at Josh Brolin as Cable.

20th Century Fox

Surprisingly enough, one of the best things about Deadpool has been its irreverent anti-marketing. Just between Deadpool and Deadpool 2 there have been a number of awesome marketing campaigns, including some columns in Good Housekeeping and a hilarious, Bob Ross-themed teaser.

Of course, the first trailer for the upcoming sequel continues that trend, with a half-finished introduction of Josh Brolin's Cable, which Ryan Reynolds's Deadpool finishes with action figures and a dollhouse. The trailer also brings back some of the film's great side characters and Deadpool's trademark breaking of the fourth wall. At the end, he chides the film for its lazy writing.

I'd say I can't wait until May 18, but at least we can look forward to more hilarious trailers between now and then.
