THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth has been found dead in the bedroom of his wife’s house here. The relatives of the youth has lodged a complaint with the Balaramapuram police saying that there’s discrepancy over his death.

The victim has been identified as Balaramapuram native Arun Prasad (32). He was found dead at his wife Muthulakshmi’s house in Venganur.

Arun Prasad, who is a welding labourer, came to live at his wife’s house six years ago. The couple has a two-year old son Presti Prasad.

Arun Prasad was involved in some welding works on the terrace of the house until 2.00 am. Muthulakshmi found him dead in their bedroom when she went there with the morning tea. The police says that his wife or her family is unaware as to when he returned to the room at night or what happened there after.

Though Arun Prasad, who was lying motionless on bed, was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. Soon his relatives were informed about his death by Muthulakshmi’s family.

Arun’s relatives, who claimed that he didn’t suffer from any chronic illness cried foul at his death. They lodged a complaint with the police and the police took his body to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.

The police also informed that they would take a case of unnatural death and would probe the case.
