Minot police say a shooting in the city is an isolated incident and the public is not in danger.

Authorities say a 26-year-old man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound about 5 p.m. Tuesday. His name and condition weren't immediately released.

Police are still searching for the shooter. They're also looking for a pickup truck that was seen in the area about the time of the shooting.
