The Cavaliers blew a 21-point lead against the Orlando Magic yesterday evening and dropped to fourth in the Eastern Conference.
It’s the latest setback for a Cleveland side that have been beset with issues this whole season.
And this Thursday’s upcoming trade deadline has sparked a surprise debate about James’ future.
The four-time MVP has a no-trade clause built into his contract for the Cavaliers, meaning for owner Dan Gilbert to deal him, James would have to waive it.
But the 33-year-old has no intention of bailing out of Cleveland just yet.
"I'm here for the long haul," James said. “I would never waive my no-trade clause."
James enters free agency in the summer with growing speculation suggesting he coud be leaving Cleveland for a second time.
Surprise reports emerged that Golden State Warriors could be in play to make a move for James at the end of the season, but they were laughed off by the 14-time All-Star.

However, it was reported yesterday that James came to blows with a couple of members of the Cavaliers' front office in a team meeting last week.
It was said tensions continue to grow between James and the organisation and a relationship between the player and owner Dan Gilbert is basically non-existent.
James is aiming to go to his eighth straight NBA Finals this season, but they will have to overcome their poor form if they are to challenge the likes of Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards in the Eastern Conference.
