The Expo is filled with electric vehicles, concepts and even e-scooters and bikes. There are props and posters conjuring up images of a clean future with the help of all those environment-friendly wheels and their smart technologies.

However, outside the sprawling halls of the Expo, diesel gensets were painting a picture of contrast, belching out their share of pollution. That’s a picture which lends more perspective to the government’s target for going towards full electric mobility by 2030.
