The accumulation of several inches of snow has resulted in parking bans in the following area communities:

Perry Township - The ban is In effect through midnight Thursday. Parking is prohibited on all township roads, and residents should remove all portable basketball hoops from the roadway.

Lake Township - Parking is prohibited on township streets through noon Thursday.

Plain Township - Parking on township streets is prohibited through 7 a.m. Thursday. Any vehicles that are found in violation of the ban may be ticketed and potentially towed by the township or Stark County Sheriff's deputies.

Jackson Township - A parking ban continues through 9 a.m. Thursday. For more information, call 330-832-4016 during business hours.

Canton Township - A parking ban is in effect until 7 a.m. Friday.

Louisville - Parking is banned on city streets until further notice.

Canal Fulton - A parking ban is in effect until 8 p.m. today.
