US-China trade deficit hits record, fueling trade fight

The gap between Chinese goods imported to US and US goods exported to China rose to $375.2bn last year, up from $347bn the prior year, data released by the Commerce Dept showed. The overall US trade deficit in goods & services with the world widened 12.1% to $566bn last year, the largest gap since 2008.
