GETTY
Previously, Sky Sports had shown all of England’s home games while the BBC held the rights to all the other matches.
But from 2003 and 2015, the BBC showed every match of the tournament live on BBC One or BBC Two.
But this year ITV will show all of England’s home games as well as four others while the BBC will retain all of the other eight matches including the champions’ trips to Edinburgh and Paris.
Since both channels are terrestrial and free-to-air, every game of the Six Nations will be shown live online for free. Viewers simply need to hold a valid TV licence and may be required to sign in to the website for ITV and the BBC.
