Four indecent exposure incidents were reported in a three-day span over the weekend, three of which happened at or near Western Washington University.

A Western alert was sent out Friday afternoon, reporting a man masturbating in a car in a university parking lot.

Hours later, around 9:17 p.m., someone called Bellingham Police – the caller reported seeing a man masturbating as he walked near a woman in the 1100 block of North Forest Street.

Around 5 p.m. the next day, police received a report of a man seen masturbating in a window of a residence in the 1700 block of East Maple Street.

Then on Sunday, police received another report of a man masturbating in his car in the 3000 block of Old Fairhaven Parkway.

Lt. Danette Beckley said there was a description on two of the suspects involved in the incidents late Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but she didn’t believe they matched that of the prolific voyeur, who is suspected in more than two dozen cases of lewd conduct throughout a six-month span on Western’s campus and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Beckley said police are pursuing video of two of the men – but she declined to give any additional information, such as the circumstances behind the calls, how someone may have noticed them or the descriptions of the suspects, citing open investigations.
